I love the diversity in this picture taken from the tomb of Seti:  Syrian, Nubian, Libyan, Egyptian

The stories of the Bible took place in and around what we now call the Middle East, and people moved on and off its stage based on their relationship with the nations of ancient Israel and Judah. Consequently the vast majority of the world’s ethnic and racial groups are not specifically identified. But some of those who are identified were black.

As I was strolling through Wal-Mart, I stopped by the book isle. The Dwayne Wade book actually caught my eye because I read so much about it on the blog sites earlier in the week. So as I was looking at his book, another book under it caught my eye. I started thinking, man that looks like the Wild Cats uniform (my home town football team.) Nawl, that can’t be. I looked closer and seen the paw print and my mouth dropped. I thumbed through the pages and to confirm my suspicion, the book was indeed about the Valdosta Wild Cats. This may not be such a surprise to you all, but I am from a city in Lowndes county, Georgia that just reached metropolitan status. I am just so proud of the accomplishments of this town and the fact that we are finally on the map. Kudos to the author. I will definitely be reading this and following up with a review. :)

Security camera clips that make the news usually show bad things, but Coke decided to “look at the world a little differently” in this heartwarming viral video. They found security camera footage from around the world showing happy moments: people stealing kisses instead of possessions, dealing potato chips instead of drugs, and offering car assistance rather than road rage.
